bonjour ~

Welcome to the twenties world! I was once told that the twenties are the best years to make an account of precious memories of life, dreams and love–doing so in the most vibrant manner possible.

Its two days before STPM. I am stressed out - i kept getting aches everywhere. Suddenly stomachache, suddenly flu, suddenly headache. I guess i am just mentally sick.

I need a break from all the stress and burden that is on me. Since its weekends, i took a day off from books.

The day started with a simple breakfast, Koay teow thng because i'm having a severe sore throat. We headed to a coffee shop popular for its Koay teow thng in Hutton Lane. It is located behind New World Park. Its only 9 something at that time and the coffee shop is already packed with people. We had to wait for a seat and lucky us that we found a table moments after.

I am much impressed that each table MUST have ordered at least a bowl of this flat noodles soup eventhough there are other options around such as Curry Mee. I am not a fan of Koay teow thng but i am curious to know how it tastes like; so i ordered yellow mee with koay teow.

Boyfie ordered orh koay and chai koay for appetizer, but it turns out not really nice. In fact, bad lol.

Finally Koay Teow Thng is served. It costs RM3 if i'm not mistaken. Quite a small portion but worth it because it contains a number of delicious springy fish balls that were handmade by them plus pig intestines. Definitely one of the nicest koay teow soup I've tasted so far.

A classic simple breakfast - iced milktea and flat noodles with soup : heavenly
